Australia
In Australia there are six major political parties. The three most common are Labor (represented by interim leader Chris Bowen), Liberal (represented by Tony Abbott) and The Greens (represented by Christine Milne).
The Australian Labor Party is Australia's oldest political party. The party was starting to get formed in 1880’s. Their formal performance was actually in the 1890’s. The Labor team is represented by interim Leader Chris Bowen.
The Liberal party was formed in the Parliament House, Canberra in 1944 by Robert Menzies.The Liberal team is represented by Tony Abbott.
Together The Greens look after our environment. The Greens are represented by Christine Milne and were founded in 1992.
The National’s are the second oldest party as it is their 94th year this year. Williams McWilliams was the founder of this party in 1920.
The Country Liberals party was known as the smallest party governed in Australia. In the late 60's the CLP was emerged by Sam Calder.
The Democratic Labour Party formally began in 1955 but was a part of the Australian Labor Party before 1955. This party was successfully lead by Herbert V. Evatt.
The Family First party is leaded by Bob Day (a senate candidate). It is a Christian party. The FFP wants the famillies of Australia to come first.
Singapore
The People’s Action Party
The People’s Action Party has been the leading party in Singapore since 1959. It is one of the two major parties in Singapore, the other being The Worker’s Party.
The PAP was formed in 1954 by mainly English educated men, who had returned from the university in the United Kingdom. And is now lead by Lee Kuan Yew.

For three years, Sin was the leader of the party, until Chiam See
Tong joined the party and became the new leader.
